Crazy bike protest

Friday, March 31st, 2006

This evening, around 8pm, at the intersection of Clark, Broadway, and Diversey, there were a bunch of crazy bicyclists riding around in circles and yelling. Well, it’s Adam‘s birthday again, and he is, again, a little older. But then, he’s always been older. Than me. Ha.

Rick-O-Sound

Tuesday, March 14th, 2006

I happened to stop by my local DJ supply store this evening and found that they had exactly what I was looking for: a Y adapter with a 1/4″ stereo plug to two 1/4″ mono jacks. It’s a Hosa model YPP-117 and it only cost $7. It’s pretty solid and all three ends are satisfyingly [...]

Your state senator is a sociopath…

Saturday, March 4th, 2006

…South Dakota District 35. The fantasy: FRED DE SAM LAZARO: Napoli says most abortions are performed for what he calls “convenience.” He insists that exceptions can be made for rape or incest under the provision that protects the mother’s life. I asked him for a scenario in which an exception may be invoked. BILL NAPOLI: [...]
